This roleplay topic starts with the attack on the Asuran home world, and as soon as the replicators all become a part of the mass on the planet, eight teams are beamed aboard the now vacant Aurora class war ships, out of the eight that are boarded five still have hyper drives and critical systems intact, those five enter hyperspace for Atlantis, the other three teams on board the other Aurora class ships quickly head to the power rooms and remove the ships ZPMs.
Out of the five salvaged ships, one is sent to the milky way to be reverse engineered into earth tech and another is based in the Pegasus galaxy under the control of the Atlantis expedition. The other three, have had several upgrades, including Asgard beams and weapons and each one is in possession of three zero point modules and two hanger bays with Puddle Jumpers (15 in each bay). After being fully stocked with the appropriate staff they are set to begin an expedition of extending the Tauri present into the rest of the universe, their first stop is the Triangulum galaxy, not to far away from their own. Out of the three ships there is the Hirana, Loutak and Ashora, all named after prominent members of the Ancient council. Each ship has a speciality, the Hirana being the Military brunt force, Loutak, the Diplomatic and Medical and Ashora having some of the best and brightest Scientific minds. But rarely do ships stay on their speciality, with expedition members moving freely between the three.

IC:
When they had attacked the Replicator home world, Daniel and his team, as well as eight other teams had all been beamed aboard Replicator warships as soon as the replicator mass had formed on the planet. As soon as they got the green light, Daniel himself had entered the command into the ship to enter hyperspace and head for Atlantis.
Three weeks since then and the Five ships they managed to salvage had been completely refitted. Their operating systems had been replaced with ones from the Atlantis Mainframe to insure that they had complete control over the ships, but with the introduction of the Ancient operating systems, the ships now required the Ancient gene to operate several key systems. Asgard cores had also been added into the ships, giving them increased offensive capabilities and the ability to beam to and from the ship.
Daniel walked through the hallways of Atlantis, his ship that he had been placed in command of, The Ashora, named after an Ancient scientist had just docked on the south pier of the city to have its supplies replenished. Tapping his radio he waited a moment before speaking. Chuck, can you please call the Commanders of the Loutak and Hirana to the briefing room Yes sir came a voice back over the radio.
Commander Collins and Commander Woolsey to the briefing room please
With in a few moments Daniel was sitting there in the briefing room infront of his soon to be co-commanders. The IOA decided that with these additions to the Tauri fleet that they wanted to venture out into the universe more, see if they can find some more life and more advanced races with in the Universe and possibly begin to set up an out of galaxy base of operations, should the Stargate Program ever become public the IOA wanted a relatively safe and empty galaxy to be able to set up colonies.
Collins, Woolsey Daniel said as he noticed the two others join him. As you know Ive just gotten back from a few test jumps in the Ashora, the hyperdrives with three zero point modules can get us from Pegasus to the Milky way with in two days, and one zero point module takes five days, no zero point modules and it takes about three to four weeks
So rest assured that if we run out of ZPMs we will still be able to return to Pegasus with in a month. But with three fully charged ZPMS in each ship we shouldnt have a problem Daniel said giving them most of the information they had collected from their tests.
Matthew, the Airforce want us to test our defensive capabilities. Were to locate a large collection of Hive ships and basically attack them. They want to know how much our shields can take under full strain and how much fire power the ships have, at least with the Replicators drone manufacturing device that was in each ship we should have no problem replenishing our drone systems. Daniel looked at Matthew to see his response. I have my team scanning the long range sensors as we speak, and Ive also sent a message to the travelers for any intel they may have on the location of some Hive ships.
Name: Captain Jack Harkness
Age: ??
Rank: Commander of Loutak / Diplomat
Ancient Gene (Y/N): Yes
Basics: Strong Leadership Skills, Willing to sacrifice himself.
History: Recently promoted to Captain, Jack Harkness is the first Captain to ever have command of a entire Ship.
IC:
As the Briefing was in session for the new ship commanders Capt. Jack Harkness entered the Conference Room and said, "Excuse me Mr. Woolsey. I've just come from SGC, I have orders to relieve you from duty of the Loutak so that you may remain in command of Atlantis. They believe that you would be better suited here, then as a diplomat on a ship." Mr Woolsey had a face that represented having the honor, and being hurt for the decision. He said, "May I ask you Capt. Harkness what exactly qualifies you for the role of a diplomat?" Harkness replied, "Sir I studied out of Oxford for six years, I was assistant diplomat under you Mr. Woolsey while your still worked on earth, and when you left I took your place." Mr. Woolsey nodded and said, "Very well, have a seat Captain."
Arranging his papers around him so that he could see the specs of each ship and explain his plan in detail. Well, I was planning for this so I had Chuck plot the clusters of the closest Wraith fleet and we got 3 results. Pulling up the galactic map on the monitor. One here in the Asuran area this one is the most promising it has a collection of 2 hives and 5 cruisers. The second one is located at a planet that we have no knowledge of. This one is comprised of 1 Hive and 3 Cruisers. The last is nothing special at all just 3 cruisers and they are orbiting our old home planet. Matthew then sat back down looking around the table at the other commanders. Well Daniel, you make the decision but if you want to really put the ships to the maximum test I suggest the Asuran homeworld. We may also be able to take some more readings on what they have been up to. Matthew sat back awaiting to hear what the other commanders thought.
Daniel looked across to the door of the briefing room as it opened and Captain Jack Harkness entered to relieve Mr Woolsey of his position with in the Fleet. It wasn't much of a surprise to him as he wasn't expecting the IOA send Woolsey into completely un-charted territory. The most they knew about the galaxies they would be visiting in the next few months were their locations, the Ancient database had no more information on them. "Welcome to the team Captain" Daniel said as he looked over to Matthew as he discussed the possible ships in the area.
"Great. I wasn't expecting results so soon. I think the Asuran space area sounds the best, we need to try and simulate the worse possible position our ships could get into while confronting unknown enemies... So a big group like that should prove quite a test for our drones, Asgard lasers and Shields.." Daniel said as he shuffled all of his papers together and then shut the screen on his laptop. "Captain Harkness... While myself and Matthew are testing our ships, I want you to get to know your crew and your new ship. The Loutak is currently docked on the north pier. Maybe take her out, get used to the systems and then plot a course for the Old Atlantis Home world to take on the three Cruisers, so you get a bit of a feel for the Loutak's defensive and offensive systems." Daniel looked across at Matthew. "Ready to go?" he asked waiting for a response.
IC:
Capt. Harkness nodded to Daniel and said, "Alright will do. Mr. Woolsey if thats all you have for me?" Mr. Woolsey nodded to Harkness and said, "Good Luck, and Be safe."
When Capt. Harkness got to his ship he immediately turned the PA system on, "Attention all Loutak personal. This is your new commander, Captain. Jack Harkness, we will be leaving for our first mission in 5 minutes. Can I please have all commanding officers report to the bridge immediatly."
Once everyone was on the bridge Capt. Harkness said to the navigator, "Set a course for the former home world of Atlantis, I want us to remain in a space orbit around the planet, we are expecting there to be three Wraith Motherships in the planets atmosphere." The ship went in to hyperdrive mode, and they were on there way.
After you Daniel Matthew motioned Daniel to take the lead to the piers where their ships were awaiting. This would be Matthew's first major mission on his own. Even if it was a practice he treated every task as if it could be their last. This attitude was strengthened when he saw his mentor, Pendergast, save his life with his last breath.
Walking out of the door and looking at his massive ship just sitting there. The Loutak had already made the jump into hyperspace it seemed that Jack was in a pretty big rush to see how things work on his ship. 'I just hope hes not moving too fast' Matt thought to himself. Walking up the ramp into his ship Matthew called the bridge to tell them that he was onboard. After walking past some officers who saluted him as he passed he made the turn onto the large bridge. While the Loutak and the Ashora had standard Aurora Class bridges the Hirana had an extra station built into the wall that was to control the massive defense systems. The other two ships had this as well but not exactly to the same size that was on the Hirana. All Hands prepare for liftoff. Power up main thrusters. Set a course for the Asuran homeworld and standby to engage. Matthew then pressed the comm button on his arm rest and sent a message over to the Ashora Daniel the Hirana is ready to leave whenever you are. You have the honors.
Daniel looked across to Matthew and nodded as he stood up and begun the long walk to the city piers where their ships were docked. Daniel was slightly nervous about taking the ship into a battle situation, he was only really a scientist and didn't know a whole lot about Military means. But he knew the defensive capabilities of his ship inside and out and he was confident that they would be able to get away with out a scratch.
Walking out onto the pier where his ship sat, he smiled slightly as he saw the Ashora their waiting for him. As he walked up the ramp he tapped his radio. "Lara, begin to power up main engines and plot a course for the Asuran home world" Daniel said as he finally entered the ship and made his way to the bridge, once there he sat down in his chair and looked across to his navigator. "Take us into space" he said with a faint smile and hit the communications button on the chair. "Hirana, we are heading into orbit now. Once there we will enter hyperspace and meet you at the Asuran home world, just out side of sensor range of the wraith ships"
