The Cast and Characters of Stargate: Universe

Below is a list of the all currently known Characters set for Stargate Universe, and the actors who are also currently known.

COLONEL EVERETT YOUNG
Played by Justin Louis
Bio: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0521878/

Colonel Everett Young. 40’s handsome, capable, former SG team leader. Like the Jack O’Neill of ten years ago, but Young’s edges have tended to sharpen over time. He requested permission to serve the remainder of his commission on Earth upon marrying his wife, Hailey, two years ago, but for now he’s temporary commander of a secret off world base. The loss of two members of his team several years ago has taught him never to take anything for granted, and be prepared for anything. He stays on top of his team so they stay alive.

DR NICHOLAS RUSH (formally Dr David Rush)
Played by Robert Carlyle
Bio: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001015/

Dr Nicholas Rush. 50's distinguished, brilliant scientist who discovers how to used the ninth chevron and when a group of scientists and soldiers find themselves trapped on an Ancient ship in the far reaches of space, Dr. Rush works to unlock the mysteries of the Ancient ship Destiny and return the group home. But evidence of his ulterior motives soon arises.

CAPTAIN TAMARA JON (formally Captain Tamara Johanson
Played by TBD
Bio: TBD

Tamara Jon. 20-25. SGC Field medic, Captain grade. Off world experience. Beautiful, tough, smart, capable. Paramedic level training. Able to triage serious injury. Modest background. Dreamed of being a doctor but couldn’t afford medical school and the Air Force was her best option. She ends up being the most medically inclined person on the ship but is overwhelmed by the lack of knowledge and experience treating seriously wounded and ill patients. She also lacks the medicine and supplies and has to make do.

CLOE WALKER (formally Cloe Carpenter)
Played by TBD
Bio: TBD

Cloe Walker. 20 ish. Stunning and sexy. Daughter of U.S. Senator Walker. Silver spoon upbringing and a little spoiled but not stupid either. Politically and socially savvy. Dreams of following in her father’s footsteps but for now she’s a bit of a party girl in her first year at an Ivy League school. Her father’s tragic death and the dire circumstances of being trapped on a spaceship seriously tests her character.

ELI WALLACE (formally Eli Hitchcock)
Played by David Blue
Bio: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2437382/

Eli Wallace. 20-25. Total slacker. Utter genius. Mathematics, computers, anything he puts his mind to. Acerbic sense of humor. A social outcast. Comes from a broken home. Lacks confidence because his true intelligence has never really been recognized like Matt Damon’s character from Good Will Hunting with a little Jack Black thrown in.

LT MATTHEW SCOTT (formally Lt Jared Nash)
Played by Brian J Smith
Bio: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1668284/

Lt. Matthew Scott. 20-25. Junior SGC team member. Officer material but green and rough around the edges. Every teenage girl’s fantasy. Like a college quarterback thrown into his first pro game, he is thrust into the role of leader well before he’s ready for the responsibility and must learn to take command, earn respect through action, and manage the diverse personalities on the ship to keep everyone alive. Like Jason Bourne, he is skilled and well-trained but mentally unprepared for the urgency of the situation.

SARGEANT RONALD GREER (formally Ron "Psycho" Stasiak)
Played by Jamil Walker Smith

Sargeant Ron Greer 20. Marine. Big, strong, silent. You want him on your side. You don’t want him mad at you. Lacks control over his temper in non combat situations. His emotional expression ranges from sarcasm to anger. His past is a mystery but it’s clear something dark formed the hard shell around him. Yet, there must also be some moral center because otherwise he’d kill everyone around him. Think Eric Bana’s character “Hoot” in Blackhawk Down. Adam Baldwin at 20 could play him.

Characters in the pilot episode, could be recurring:

SENATOR WALKER
Male. 50s. 60s. Distinguished Senator who is the political oversight to this Stargate project trying to dial the ninth chevron. Also the proud loving father of Chloe Walker, his daughter and political aid. Senator Walker is the father of Chloe Walker (formerly Carpenter), one of the show’s main characters. Based on what we know so far, it looks like she accompanies him in an official capacity as he inspects an off-world base run by Earth. After the base is attacked, they and everyone else must evacuate through the Stargate to the Ancient ship Destiny. GUEST STAR, 2 EPISODE ARC.

CAMILLE WRAY
30-50. An accountant with the international oversight body that governs the Stargate program. Now the highest ranking member of that body left stranded on the ship, she has a false sense of importance and superiority to the other military and civilian population along with a stubborn way of asserting it. After the base is attacked and everyone is evacuated through the Stargate to the Destiny, Wray is furious that they were not told that they were evacuating there instead of to Earth. Their supplies are extremely low — especially food. GUEST STAR, POSSIBLY RECURRING.

Curtis. TBD

Airman Darren Becker. An Airman, he works in the mess hall.

Dr Philips. A scientist and part of Dr. Rush’s top secret project.

McDonald. TBD

Henry. He reports to McDonald that the Destiny’s life support systems activated automatically when they dialed the ship, but it’s not working right and they have only a few hours of breathable air left.

Dr Brody. A team of scientists investigate a thick, black substance found on the ship, and Brody suggests that it may be residue from whatever the Ancients used to scrub CO2 from the air on board the Destiny.

Smith. TBD

Dr Franklin. A civilian scientist, he grows impatient with Rush’s orders and the lack of food on the ship.

Marion. A waitress, late 40s. She’s frustrated with her son Jack, who seems to be going nowhere in life. (Earth-based)

Jack. Marion’s son, who sleeps all day.

Dr Palmer. A geologist.

Dr Grearson. Also a scientist. He and Franklin are on a barren and inhospitable planet with Eli, looking for something. They have a handful of Stargate addresses, which they couldn’t dial from the Destiny but think they can dial using the planet’s Stargate. Eli isn’t eager to go against Dr. Rush’s orders, but the two men don’t care much about that.

White. TBD

Pool. TBD

Dr Riley. A scientist / gate technician who attempts to dial a nine-symbol address on the Stargate (perhaps as part of the research program, before a connection with the Destiny is first established?).

Dr Kim. Another scientist / gate technician.

Volker. TBD
